Day
01: |
Arrival in Kathmandu. On
arrival, you will be meeting by a
representative to provide you with
your airport transfer to your Hotel.
The balance of the day is at leisure
to explore the city known as
Kantipur, the capital of the Federal
Democratic Republic of Nepal.

Day 02: |
Visit Kathmandu Durbar Square,
Swayambhunath, Pashupatinath and
Boudhanath.
Kathmandu City: The capital
of Nepal, is also known as Kantipur.
It is named after Kasthamandap, an
imposing Pagoda near Hanuman Dhoka
Palace. Kasthamandap, supposed to be
made from a single tree, along with
Durbar Square is one of the ancient
places of Nepal.
Swayambhunath: one of the
World’s most glorious Buddhist
Stupas, painted on the four-sides of
the spire bases are the never
sleeping eyes of Lord Buddha. It
lies 3 km west of the city and
situated about 77m above the level
of the Valley.
Pashupatinath Temple: a
sacred temple of Lord Shiva
Pashupatinath with two-tiered golden
roof situated on the banks of the
sacred river Bagmati. It is the
centre of Annual Pilgrimage on the
day of Maha Shivaratri. This temple
is situated amidst the lush green
natural setting, 5 Km. East of city.
Boudhanath: This colossal and
ancient Buddhist Stupa, one of the
biggest in the World, has the all
seeing eyes of Lord Buddha. It is
built on an octagonal base inset
with prayer wheels at a distance of
8 Km. East of city. Back to the
hotel.

Day 03: |
Visit Bhaktapur Durbar Square and
then, drive to Dhulikhel (32 km, 45
mins).
After breakfast, proceed for
sightseeing tour of Bhaktapur Durbar
Square. It is also known as Bhadgaon
and can be reached by 45 min. drive.
Bhaktapur is one of the three major
cities of the Kathmandu valley, and
we will visit its Durbar square
which although larger than the one
in Kathmandu, has fewer temples due
to an earthquake in 1934. We also
visit the Nyatapola Temple, which is
not only the highest temple (98 ft)
in the valley but also one of the
best examples of traditional
architecture. Bhaktapur, no doubt is
the most distinctly medieval city
than the other two cities Kathmandu
and Patan. The main occupation of
the locals here are weaving, pottery
and farming.
Later, we drive to Dhulikhel. It is
situated only 32 Km east of
Kathmandu, the capital of Nepal on
the Araniko Highway in the lap of
Greenwood and at an elevation of
1,550 meter above the mean sea level
and along the ridge that separates
the valley of Banepa and Panchkhal.
It is a small township, 30 kms from
Kathmandu, along the Chinese-built
road which leads to the border.

Day 04: |
Visit Namo Buddha, Banepa and
Panauti.
After your daily breakfast is served
in the hotel, we proceed for the
excursion tour of Namo Buddha.
Later, drive up to Dhullikhel and
start a hiking up to Namo Buddha
(1982m.) today we will hiking with a
view of local villages and nice
terraces after hiking 3 to 4 hour we
will arrive to Namo Buddha a scared
Buddhist place where Lord Buddha
saved the life of a tiger dying from
hunger. You can have a thrilling
view of mountains valley and hills
and touch of Newari culture.
Later, we drive to Banepa. Banepa is
an ancient Newar town. It is about
20km far from Kathmandu.It is also a
small business town of Kavre
distrist. It is thriving Newari
village with beautiful temples and
interesting old houses. Similarly,
Panauti is the old town of this area
and which offers an opportunity to
learn about the daily life and
culture of Newars.

Day 05: |
Palanchowk Bhagwati & drive to
Hattiban.
In the morning,visit Palanchowk
Bhagwati Temple. Palanchowk Bhagwati
is situated over the hill
overlooking the valley of Panchkhal
and 40 km north-east of the
Kathmandu city. This temple of
Palanchowk Bhagwati is said to have
been constructed during the reign of
King Man Dev. The temple houses a 3
feet long beautiful artistic idol of
Goddess Bhagwati carved in a black
stone. Then, drive to Hattiban.
Hattiban is situated 400m above the
historic valley of Kathmandu. Set
amidst pine and fir trees, the
resort is just 15 km away from the
capital city. Guests have a choice
of comfortable cottages with
commanding views of the Himalayan
range or standard/deluxe rooms,
fully furnished with a decor of
ethnic beauty, overlooking the
Himalayas - right from the Ganesh
Himal Range all the way to Mt.
Everest. On reaching, check in to
the hotel.

Day 06: |
Visit Dakshinkali Temple, Kritipur,
Chovar Gorge & Budhanikantha.
Dakshinkali Temple, located 22 km
outside Kathmandu, and about 1 km
outside the village of Pharping, is
one of the main temples of Nepal
dedicated to the goddess Kali.
Animal sacrifices, particularly of
cockerels and uncast rated male
goats, are the main way that the
goddess is worshipped, and this is
especially seen during the Dashain
festival.
Later, visit Kirtipur. Kirtipur is a
small town, 8 km southwest of
Kathmandu and situated at top of a
hill. This historic town has many
things to offer like old shrines and
temples and old houses. Some of the
folks are typically dressed in
traditional costumes, and can be
spotted working on looms. Chilandya
Stupa, Bagbhairab Temple and Uma
Maheshwar Temple are the major
attraction of this place. Soon after
sightseeing of this place, we will
head to nearby Chovar Gorge. The
Chovar Gorge below is the greater
attraction. Alongside is the Jal
Vinayak Temple, an important
pilgrimage site for the valley
residents. Legend has it that the
gorge was carved out by a mighty
blow of the sword by Manjushree who
wanted to drain the lake that filled
Kathmandu Valley in ancient times.
Even today, this is the place
through which the Valley's waters
gush out to the plains beyond the
hills.
Lately, you will be taken to
Buddhanilkanth. Budhanilkantha
Temple is located at the base of
Shivapuri Hill within the Kathmandu
valley on the northern side. It is
also known as mystical
Budhanilkantha temple or Narayanthan
temple .Budhanilkantha literally
means “Old Blue Throat”. It is only
nine kilometer away from the main
city. It is a deity of Lord Vishnu;
Lord Vishnu is also known as
Narayan.It is called Vishnu (Narayan)
Jalasayan lying on Ananta Sesa, in
the cosmic ocean. The deity is about
thousand years old. Lord Vishnu is
about five meter (Seventeen fits)
long and lying in a thirteen meter
(forty three fits) long tank, as if
floating with his legs crossed with
his sleeping body resting on the
coils of Ananta and his 11 hooded
head. Back to the hotel.

Day 07: |
Visit Patan City, Tibetan Handicraft
Center, Bungamati and Khokana.
Patan Durbar Square: This sister
capital is an ancient city which is
also known as Lalitpur . This city
is full of Hindu temples and
Buddhist monuments with bronze
gateways, guardian deities and
wonderful carvings. It is also known
as the city of fine arts and for the
superb craftsmanship of its
artisans. On the way you will also
visit Tibetan Handicraft center
where you can observe the fine
example of Tibetan crafts.
Bungamati: Bungamati is 10 km far
from Kathmandu to south stands a
small but graceful village which
dwell hundreds of master wood
carvers and sculpture producers.
Visitors often encounter with
smiling teeth and welcoming hand of
artisans working in their house,
offering their artifacts. Regardless
of the rapid changes in lifestyle of
the urban population and the
globalized way of living, the
Bungamati locals have remained
untouched by modern waves and are
living the life that they know best
--simply rural -- from the past
several centuries.
Similarly, Khokana is a thriving
village nearby Bungamati encircles
the two cities of Kathmandu and
Patan. He village begins with a wide
cobbled street and in the middle of
the main street lies the temple of
Sekali Mai. Khokanas local mother
goddess. Khokana is famous for
mustard oil, which is still made in
traditional way and spun woolen
yarn. After this sightseeing tour,
back to the hotel.

Day 08: |
Drive to Bandipur (140 km, 5 hours
approx.) and visit Manakamana on the
way.
Bandipur lays midway between the
capital Kathmandu and Pokhara.
Bandipur captivates the visitors
with its cultural appeal and
pristine scenery. This town has
maintained its age old flavour and
presents sightseeings with a heady
mix of history, architecture,
incredible views, awesome caves and
unspoiled landscapes. Bandipur has
been described as a natural view
tower; indeed, one can enjoy a
spectacular panorama of the entire
Annapurna Range plus the peaks of
Dhaulagiri, Manaslu and Langtang
from here. Apart from the stunning
views of the Himalaya and the
Marsyangdi Valley, a visit to the
town is an opportunity to get a
close look at Newar cultural life.
Before reaching Bandipur, we visit
Manakamana Temple. The cable car in
Nepal takes you up on a spiritual
adventure to the abode of Mankamana,
the wish-fulfilling Hindu Goddess.
Even if you have no wishes to make
(assuming that you have got it all
or you are not a believer), this
place offers a unique look into
Nepali people's faith in the Goddess
Mankamana. The Mankamana temple
overlooks terraced fields, and the
Trisuli and Marshyang-di river
valleys. The hilltop (1302m) also
offers a vantage point for taking in
the breathtaking view of the Manaslu,
Himalchuli and Annapurna massifs to
the north. Venerated since 17th
century and commanding royal
patronage, Mankamana is located
south of the historic town of Gorkha
and 6 km north of Mugling breath
taking view of the Manaslu,
Himalchuli and Annapurna massifs to
the north.

Day 09: |
Visit Bandipur Village then drive to
Pokhara (75 km, 3 hours approx.)
After breakfast take a walking tour
around Bandipur Village including
Newari. This town has maintained its
age-old flavour, and presents
sightseers with a heady mix of
history, architecture, incredible
views, awesome caves and unspoiled
landscapes. Depart in the afternoon
for Pokhara. Located on the main
road between Kathmandu and
Bhairahawa, there may be no other
place in the world from where Great
Himalayas peaks can be admired from
such a close distance.

Day 10: |
Sightseeing Tour of Pokhara City.
After breakfast depart for a
sightseeing tour of Pokhara City
which includes a one hour boat ride
at lake Phewa. One of the most
picturesque natural attractions in
the kingdom, it is located virtually
in the geographical center of Nepal.
The rare combination of snow-clad
peaks and snow fed lakes.

Day 11: |
Drive to Lumbini via Tansen (110 km,
5 hours approx.).
After breakfast check-out from hotel
then drive to Lumbini via Tansen.
Lumbini is the birthplace of Lord
Buddha–the apostle of peace,
compassion and non-violence. It is
situated in Kapilvastu District of
Lumbini – the western Terai of Nepal
250 Kms southwest of Kathmandu.
Lumbini still preserves the broken
Ashokan pillar, ruins of old stupas,
image of Buddha’s mother Maya Devi
and holy pond which is known as
Puskarni Pond where Maya Devi took a
bath before she gave a birth to Lord
Buddha. On reaching Lumbini,
transfer to the hotel.

Day 12: |
Drive to Chitwan (104 km, 4 hours
approx.). On reaching, transfer to
the jungle resort.
The main attraction of this place
being Royal Chitwan National Park,
which is situated 166 Kms southwest
of Kathmandu. This is one of the
largest forest regions with a wide
range of wildlife–the rare great one
horned rhinoceros, deer, sloth bear,
leopard, wild boar, fresh water,
dolphin, crocodile, the elusive
Royal Bengal Tiger and over 350
species of birds. Visitors may go
around on elephant back excursion,
nature walks, canoe trips and on
Jungle treks.

Day 13: |
Full day jungle activities in
Chitwan National Park.
Chitwan National Park is one of the
largest forest regions of Nepal and
the main attraction of this place is
a wide range of wildlife – the rare
great one horned rhinoceros, deer,
sloth bear, leopard, wild boar,
fresh water dolphin, crocodile, the
elusive Royal Bengal Tiger and over
350 species of birds. Early in the
morning, you will be taken to the
forest for elephant back ride and
jungle walk. Later, enjoy Tharu
Village Tour, ox cart ride, canoeing
and Elephant Breeding Center.

Day 14: |
Drive Chitwan to Pokhara (139 km, 5
hours approx.)
The Pokhara Valley, the gateway to
the Annapurna region is one of the
most picturesque spots of Nepal. The
never-waning beauty of the valley is
enhanced by its lovely lakes Phewa,
Begnas and Rupa, surrounded by the
glacial region of the Annapurna
Range of the Himalayas. This
scintillating valley is situated 200
Kms west of Kathmandu linked by the
Prithvi highway. This highway passes
along a highly picturesque region
amidst the midland valleys and the
Terai belt of the Kingdom. The
magnificent views of the Dhaulagiri,
Himalchuli, Macchapuchhre and five
peaks of the Annapurna provide a
highly dramatic view in a
subtropical setting. Pokhara is
definitely a place not to be missed.

Day 15: |
Departure from Kathmandu to onward
journey.
Breakfast in the hotel and rest of
the day free. Your guide will pick
you up from the hotel and will
transfer you to the airport to catch
your onward flight. |
