Day
01: |
Arrival in Kathmandu. On
arrival, you will be meeting by a
representative to provide you with
your airport transfer to your Hotel.
After short refreshment, proceed for
sightseeing tour of Kathmandu Durbar
Square and Swayambhunath.
Kathmandu City: Kathmandu is
the capital of Nepal, is also known
as Kantipur. It is named after
Kasthamandap, an imposing Pagoda
near Hanuman Dhoka Palace.
Kasthamandap, supposed to be made
from a single tree, along with
Durbar Square is one of the ancient
places of Nepal.
Swayambhunath: Swayambhunath
is one of the Worlds most glorious
Buddhist Stupas, painted on the
four-sides of the spire bases are
the never sleeping eyes of Lord
Buddha. It lies 3 km west of the
city and situated about 77m above
the level of the Valley. Then, back
to the hotel.

Day 02: |
Visit Pashupatinath, Boudhanath and
Bhaktapur City.
Pashupatinath Temple:
Pashupatinath Temple is a sacred
temple of Lord Shiva Pashupatinath
with two-tiered golden roof situated
on the banks of the sacred river
Bagmati. It is the centre of Annual
Pilgrimage on the day of Maha
Shivaratri. This temple is situated
amidst the lush green natural
setting, 5 Km. East of city.
Boudhanath: This colossal and
ancient Buddhist Stupa, one of the
biggest in the World, has the all
seeing eyes of Lord Buddha. It is
built on an octagonal base inset
with prayer wheels at a distance of
8 Km. East of city.

Bhaktapur: Bhaktapur is also
known as Bhadgaon, Bhaktapur is one
of the three major cities of the
Kathmandu valley, and we will visit
its Durbar square which although
larger than the one in Kathmandu,
has fewer temples due to an
earthquake in 1934. We also visit
the Nyatapola Temple, which is not
only the highest temple (98 ft) in
the valley but also one of the best
examples of traditional
architecture. Bhaktapur, no doubt is
the most distinctly medieval city
than the other two cities Kathmandu
and Patan. The main occupation of
the locals here are weaving, pottery
and farming. After the sightseeing
we will be driving to Kathmandu for
approximately 45 mins. Upon reaching
Kathmandu check in to hotel. Rest
of the evening is free to relax. |
Day 03: |
Drive to Pokhara (200 km, 6 hours
approx.). On reaching, check in to
the hotel.
Pokhara Valley: The Pokhara
Valley, the gateway to the Annapurna
region is one of the most
picturesque spots of Nepal. The
never-waning beauty of the valley is
enhanced by its lovely lakes Phewa,
Begnas and Rupa, surrounded by the
glacial region of the Annapurna
Range of the Himalayas. This
scintillating valley is situated 200
Kms west of Kathmandu linked by the
Prithvi highway. This highway passes
along a highly picturesque region
amidst the midland valleys and the
Terai belt of the Kingdom. The
magnificent views of the Dhaulagiri,
Himalchuli, Macchapuchhre and five
peaks of the Annapurna provide a
highly dramatic view in a
subtropical setting. Pokhara is
definitely a place not to be missed.

Day 04: |
Free day or optional activities in
Pokhara.
This day is a free day and you have
a complete day to enjoy the day as
per your interest. You may contact
through our guide for optional
activities like sightseeing tours,
hiking, excursion etc. Otherwise,
you way scroll around the market for
shopping on own.

Day 05: |
Drive Pokhara to Chitwan (139 km, 5
hours approx.). On reaching,
transfer to the jungle resort.
Chitwan National Park: This is a
sanctuary which was established 1964
and 22,000 people were relocated.
The National Park was declared in
1973, and animal numbers have grown
to the extent that it now offers one
of the finest wildlife experiences
in Asia. It contains about 400 rhino
and 80 tigers, plus 50 other species
of mammals and over 400 species of
birds.

Day 06: |
Full day jungle activities in
Chitwan National Park.
This day you will be taken to the
dense forest of Chitwan National
Park for various jungle activities.
Elephant Back Ride, Canoeing, Jungle
Walk and Tharu Village Tour are the
attraction of this day. Chitwan
National Park is one of the largest
forest regions of Nepal and the main
attraction of this place is a wide
range of wildlife the rare great
one horned rhinoceros, deer, sloth
bear, leopard, wild boar, fresh
water dolphin, crocodile, the
elusive Royal Bengal Tiger and over
350 species of birds. Visitors may
go around on elephant back
excursion, nature walks, canoe
trips, and on Jungle treks. After
completion jungle activities, return
to the resort.

Day 07: |
Drive Chitwan to Kathmandu (158 km,
5 hours approx.). Before check in to
the hotel, visit Patan Durbar
Square.
Patan Durbar Square: This sister
capital is an ancient city which is
also known as Lalitpur. This city is
full of Hindu temples and Buddhist
monuments with bronze gateways,
guardian deities and wonderful
carvings. It is also known as the
city of fine arts and for the superb
craftsmanship of its artisans. On
the way you will also visit Tibetan
Handicraft center where you can
observe the fine example of Tibetan
crafts.
After sightseeing tour, transfer to
the hotel. Check in and rest day is
in leisure.

Day 08: |
Departure from Kathmandu to onward
journey.
Breakfast in the hotel and rest of
the day free. Your guide will pick
you up from the hotel and will
transfer you to the airport to catch
your onward flight. |
